Aim
To train young children into well rounded personalities for selection as officers into the Armed Forces through NDA/NA/TES.
Mission
To help children to be focused into joining the Armed Forces on Completion of Class 12.
Methodology
Provide focused and goal oriented training to Cadets.
Equip the Cadets with required intellectual and Physical skills.
Character building.
Personality building to include Leadership Qualities, Communication Skills, Public Speaking, Self Confidence, Social Adaptability, Physical Fitness, Mental Strength, Group Behaviour, Team Spirit and Life Skills.
Training will be given under the following heads:-
UPSC (NDA) Entrance Exam and SSB Interview
All Cadets will study in Science stream with following Subjects:-
Special emphasis will be given to coach children in Hindi speaking.
Special coaching for the subjects of UPSC (NDA) entrance exam will be given to Cadets.
Curriculum is so structured that Cadets are automatically prepared to face the SSB Interview.
Each Cadet will get minimum two chances to appear in the UPSC (NDA) entrance exam while he/she is at DSPA in Class XII i.e., in September and April.
Physical Training and Games
The aim will be to ensure that all cadets (Boys & Girls) are in good physical condition to undertake the rigors of training at NDA.

b. Focus to Join Armed Forces
Motivation training is of importance. Cadets will be given exposure to life in the Armed Forces through a series of lectures, training films, and visits to various Defence establishments
c. Discipline
Cadets are expected to follow all orders and instructions meticulously. Punctuality will be ensured for all parades and functions. Drill is an important part of training at SPI.
d. Leadership Training
Cadets are introduced to various aspects of leadership and given adequate opportunities to develop these qualities by the participation in the routine running of the institute by way of various cadets’ appointments, additional responsibilities etc.
e. Communication Skills
It is mandatory for all cadets to communicate in English at all times. Emphasis is laid on extempore speech and group discussions. Debates and Declamation competitions will also be organized.
